The DSP filter switches allow you to get the best possible sound regardless of what position the monitors are calibrated in.
Placing the monitors on a desk? There's a switch for that. Change the soft filter setting to desk and allow the process to take place. The speaker will then compensate for the first reflection caused by the desk surface.
The Core 59's casing is stiff, tough enough to withstand any rattle or vibration from higher sound pressure levels. The 32mm thick baffle contributes wonderfully to the Core 59's linearity across the spectrum. Upright, sideways, even upside down - with the woofer on top - the Core 59 can utilise any setup position brilliant. The versatile Core 59 will fit right in with your studio.
