Available for download, the AmpliTube Slash Power DUO Bundle from IK Multimedia gives you AmpliTube 4 and AmpliTube Slash in one package, providing you modeled amplifiers, cabinets, stompboxes, and effects racks for use with electric guitars and electric basses. In standalone mode, this software can also function as an 8-channel DAW with full recording, looping, editing, mixing, and exporting capabilities—as well as the ability to switch between presets instantaneously via any compatible footswitch, thus making this software suitable for live gigs. Used in any application such as Pro Tools or Logic, the software allows you to approximate a more realistic guitar tone.
In addition to AmpliTube 4, this bundle includes AmpliTube Slash, a collection of two amplifiers and cabinets modeled specifically on Slash's Marshall Amplifiers, alongside six pedals which emulate Slash's most oft-used stompboxes. With this download, you now have access to Slash's gear at your digital fingertips.
It is also worth noting that the tools in this bundle work well in conjunction with analog synths, electric pianos, drums, and even soft-synths. This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and will work in VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX formats running at 64-bit.

Dynamic Response through Sponge & Sag- The amplifier/cabinet combinations in AmpliTube 4 utilize "Sponge and Sag" processing to replicate, in a more faithful manner, the dynamic interaction between the power amp and the speakers, aiming to eliminate the "harshness" found in the upper frequencies of other software
- AmpliTube 4 features an Acoustic Sim pedal that aims to transmute your electric guitar into an acoustic; it is tweakable with on-board controls and features three styles of acoustic body and body-tops
- AmpliTube 4 provides an additional slot in the signal chain right after the pre-amp section but before the power stage; this slot lets you add in up to four daisy-chained effects (including all of the stompboxes) for signal processing before hitting the power section
- You can use many of the stompbox and rack effects in any of the rack-effects slots; conversely, you can use rack effects in the stompbox slots too
- AmpliTube 4 can operate as an 8-channel DAW, allowing you to capture, loop, edit, mix, and export audio in the stand-alone application
- Dubbed the Super Looper, this feature is a 4-part looping station suitable for laying down multi-part backing tracks; each track includes level and panning controls, and can be instantiated by MIDI-foot controller or mouse click
- AmpliTube 4 features an upgraded tune-section which delivers accuracy down to 0.01 of a cent
- Additional software modeled in conjunction with Fender, MESA/Boogie, Ampeg, Orange, Soldano, Groove Tubes, Gallien-Krueger, Jet City Amplification, THD and T-Rex, Fulltone, Z.Vex, Carvin, Morley, Wampler Pedals, Dr. Z, ENGL and more are available for demo and purchase within the plug-in
