The JBL LSR305 MKII Studio Monitor is the latest in the LSR series from JBL, refining the original design and adding a range of new features and enhancements. The 5-inch active bi-amplified design ensures optimal audio performance, with dedicated custom Class-D amplifiers providing 82W of power both the HF and LF range. It utilises the patented Image Control Waveguide from JBL, providing exceptional clarity and a wide, room-friendly sweet spot. The new-generation custom JBL provide the best possible transient response for a natural sound. The result is crisp, transparent sound that is ideal for mixing and mastering applications, giving you a true representation of your sound that will translate to other mediums.
New Boundary EQ Settings
One of the most prominent new features of the LSR305 MKII is the inclusion of Boundary EQ settings. This was a widely requested feature from original LSR users, giving you the ability to further attenuate your low-end boost, which can occur when the monitor is placed on a desktop or near a wall. This allows you to change the way the monitor responds for optimised audio performance, even in confined spaces. This is accompanied by a 3-position HF trim switch for adjusting the high-frequency response for added attenuation control.

Each monitor must be able to perform without fault at maximum voltage for 100 hours with failure, ensuring your monitors will never fail during crucial times. It also boasts flexible connectivity, allowing you to use the monitors with audio interfaces and more. Balanced XLR and ¼-inch TRS inputs allow you to communicate with a wide range of equipment from interfaces to mixers and more. The input also feature adjustable sensitivity, allowing you to select between +4dBu/-10dBV for optimised audio performance and signal integrity.
