Incredibly versatile
Thanks to the LCT 040's cardioid polar pattern, the microphone will be just as comfortable on-tour as it is in the studio. This ensures a tight focussed pick-up at the front of the capsule, with up to 6dB of rejection at the sides and nothing from the rear. You'll find this is perfect for minimising undesirable off-axis noise and ambience.
The relatively flat nature of the microphone means it will respond well to equalisation. Their subtle presence boost in the higher frequency range is great for enhancing attack and intelligibility, whilst the gradual roll off automatically reduces boom and rumble. You'll no longer have to waste that all important CPU reaching for an equaliser when this microphone applies it at source! The LCT040 is excellent for delicate sources such as finger picked acoustic guitar, harp and piano. Embrace its natural boost to cut through the densest of mixes and arrangements to be heard loud and proud.
