Incredible conversion

Conversion in audio interfaces is sometimes overlooked, but this element dictates the quality and detail, not only of your recordings, but of every element you hear out of your monitoring. The MT48 features precise, class-leading conversion developed by Switzerland's Merging Technologies for incredible audio resolution and a wide dynamic range of 136 dB. This makes everything crystal-clear, sharp and refined.

Flexible effects processing

The MT48 is equipped with a range of onboard processing options. A flexible four-band parametric EQ lets you sculpt your sounds and carve out space for your mix with ease. Dynamics processing with gate, compression and limiting allows you to shape your signal for punchy, present sounds and emphasis that sits exactly where it's wanted. Then, add space and depth with the onboard reverb. These effects can be printed to your recording, sent only through monitoring for playback, or recorded both wet and dry simultaneously for parallel processing. This offers a huge amount of flexibility, letting you record your way, whether you want a dry signal for later processing, or mix-ready sounds directly from tracking.

Direct control

The MT48's touch screen interface makes control immediate and intuitive. Adjust EQ bands and effects parameters, pan controls, or channel faders without having to switch to mixing software. This makes the MT48 an extremely fast and effective recording solution in any scenario.

NEW: MONITOR MISSION FOR MASTERING AND MIXING IMMERSIVE AUDIO

Thanks to its touchscreen user interface, the MT 48 can be configured for various application scenarios using dedicated "Missions". The Monitor Mission transforms the MT 48 into a comprehensively equipped, highly flexible, state-of-the-art monitor controller. In addition to mono and stereo setups, any surround and immersive formats can be configured. On board are precise trim and delay functions to compensate for level and time-of-arrival differences, as well as EQs with up to 24 bands per output channel for room adjustment. Flexible bass management and downmix are also part of the Monitor Mission.

*Users who register their MT 48 with the manufacturer before July 1, 2024, will receive their activation key for the Monitor Mission free of charge.
