New AlgoRhythms Soundpack for the COBALT Series

Hot on the tails of the recent V1.1 firmware update, Modal Electronics have released a brand new sound pack for the COBALT series - AlgoRhythms. As well as the firmware update providing COBALT8 users with six new algorithms that focus on FM and AM oscillation models, it also allows you to enjoy the brand new AlgoRythms sound pack, which comprises of 30 unique sounds, 20 sequences, 25 rhythmic sounds and 5 expressive performance centric patches. What’s even better - AlgoRhythms is absolutely free!

AlgoRyhthms, as the name suggests, can help add some textural rhythm to your music. Modal say that they set their designers the following challenge - “Arm the Modal COBALT community with a preset pack brimming with pulsating textures, reactive to the subtle inflection of a truly expressive performance and mapped for tactile control to switch your sound up on the fly” - and it look as though they succeeded!
