One of the great things about Reason is Reason Rack. This is a virtual plugin that can be used within any DAW, or within Reason itself. It lets you drag and drop all sorts of different effects, instruments, signal modulators and more until you’ve got the sound that you’re after. Each instrument and effect within Reason Rack lets you tweak different parameters making them really customisable, and, what makes it even cooler is you can view the ‘back’ of the virtual rack, and wire all your different units up if different ways, as you would be able to if you were using hardware. This makes for an incredible recording and mixing experience.
