Every modern DJ needs a portable system that allows them to mix in depth. The Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 is a compact, portable DJ system that gives you ultimate control of your music. With professional but user-friendly controls, and compatibility with multiple devices, you can DJ anywhere, with anyone. The DDJ-FLX4 can be operated by Pioneer’s own DJ software Rekordbox, or alternatively Serato Lite. Choose your go-to DJ software and install it for free on the device you’re using. You also have the option to upgrade to the premium subscriptions of either software.
Versatile mixing machine
Compatible with multiple devices, the DDJ-FLX4 is connected via USB-C and is bus powered. The DDJ-FLX4 can connect to any Windows PC, Apple Mac, iPhone, iPad, or Android device. When a device that is not able to bus power the DDJ-FLX4 is connected, there is an additional USB-C port that you can use to power your decks. The controls of the FLX4 were developed by Pioneer from their professional DJ products. The Jog wheels, faders, Knobs, buttons and performance pads are all ergonomically designed to provide you with a smooth mixing experience. The robust built of the FLX4 allows you to get hands on with your DJing in any party environment and ensures it is safe when in transit.
Master your mix and flex your DJ skills
The unformed arrangement of the controls allows you to get to grips with DJing effortlessly, and the small size of the DDJ-FLX4 means you can practice wherever you like. If you’re new to DJing, the Smart Fader feature automatically adjusts the volume, bass volume and BPM of the music so you can transition from one track to the other with finesse using the crossfader or channel volume faders. Utilise the eight back-lit rubber performance pads to play samples, beat jump, use pad FX and trigger hot cues. A Smart CFX on each channel allows you to apply a combination of effects to add depth to your transitions. With Rekordbox, you can access the streaming libraries of Beatport, SoundCloud, Beatsource and Tidal for an unlimited musical selection to pick from and mix on the DDJ-FLX4
Soundcard, microphone integration and recording
The built-in audio interface of the DDJ-FLX4 allows it to connect directly to a soundsystem via a single L+R RCA cable and gives you the ability to record your mixes back to Rekordbox on your device via the USB cable. The DDJ-FLX4 is class compliant, you can start DJing with it without installing an audio driver. Vocalists and MC’s can project their voices alongside the master output of the DDJ-FLX4. Connect your microphone to the controller via a ¼ inch jack and control the mic volume with the attenuator knob. The FLX4 mixes microphone audio and the playing music automatically, this is great for live-streaming as you can mix with vocals all from one device.
