Realtime jogwheel display and four new FX levers
Building on the success of the Mixon 4 DJ controller, the Mixon 8 Pro takes everything to the next level in terms of design and functionality. One of the most prominent upgrades is the new and improved jog wheels – now featuring real-time displays in the centre of them. The touch-sensitive metal platters ensure maximum precision when it comes to tracking your movements, allowing you to control your music with the utmost accuracy. The new crisp jog wheel displays provide information on track name, BPM, track remaining/elapse and even a virtual need illumination so you can check your tracks at a glance.
Get creative with your mixes using any of the four FX pedals, allowing you instantly trigger effects with a tactile paddle design. Using your chosen DJ software you can assign a whole host of effects to each of the FX levers. Each of the four channels also features a three-band EQ and dedicated sound colour filters (LPF/HPF) so you can create build-ups and powerful transitions with ease.
Powerful performance control section with RGB pads
The Reloop Mixon 8 Pro features a wide variety of performance controls to improve your mixing abilities and add an extra dynamic to your performances. 16 RGB, velocity-sensitive pads (eight on each deck) are included so you can trigger powerful modes such as: Hot Cue, Loop Roll, Saved Loop, Sampler, Pitch Play**, Saved Flip*, Slicer, Scratch Bank, Looper Mode, Neural Mix™ Mode and Touch FX ( Requires Serato DJ Pitch ‘n’ Time expansion pack. These versatile performance pads allow you to do everything from loop sections of your track to trigger one-shot audio samples. The touch-sensitive Sample mode determines the volume by how hard you strike the pad for added control. The multi-coloured, backlit LED pads give you instant feedback, displaying the active modes and reflecting the colour-coded cue points within the software.
Hybrid connectivity with docking station
One of the things that sets the Mixon 8 Pro apart from conventional DJ controllers is its hybrid connectivity. Featuring both digital and analog connections, you can use the Mixon 8 Pro as a fully-fledged DJ controller or as a standalone mixer for use with analog turntables. With 2x Phono and 4x Line inputs, you can connect everything from media player to turntables. There are also dual mic inputs (XLR/jack) so you can host your sets while you perform or incorporate a guest vocalist such as an MC. You can even EQ the microphone’s sound using the onboard controls for added convenience. Expand your creativity with the integrated docking station allowing you to use the DJ controller.
Dual integrated USB audio interfaces and music streaming support
Designed for digital users, the Mixon 8 Pro features dual integrated USB audio interfaces with the latest USB-C connections for optimised performance and compatibility. You can connect up to two laptops or an iPad using the various USB connections on offer (1x USB-B, 1x USB-C/USB-B switch). This allows you to seamlessly hand over between DJs or keep all your gear connected in once place for added convenience. The USB-C connection provides support for the new generation of iPads and Macbooks, providing 32-bit audio fidelity.
You can also access millions of tracks online (internet connection required) from major music streaming platforms including Soundcloud, Beatport Link, Tidal or Beatsource Link provides full integration. Mixon 8 Pro also provides support for the DVS (digital vinyl system) format.
