The Roland TM-6 Pro Trigger Module is a high-quality trigger module from Roland, featuring a huge library of 500 different preloaded user samples to equip your acoustic drum kit with ability to explore a whole new kind of sound. The TM-6 module is a state of the art device that houses a number of electronic sounds and acoustic percussion sounds. The module also comes with preloaded samples from Roland's V-Drum modules. giving you even more ways to mix up your music. The simple, easy to use controls allow musicians to navigate through the different sounds mid-song. You can even recreate the exact sound played by someone before, either in a studio or live. This is done by using the user sample feature which allows you to import the sound you want to recreate and play them using your acoustic kit.
These samples can then be edited for a new spin on a classic, by combining them with the modules built-in sounds, adding powerful onboard effects or switching and mixing layered samples according to the strength of your stick-hits. The module features several editable parameters onboard, such as volume, pitch and decay, as well as the +/- 2-octave pitch rate that provides easy tuning alongside acoustic drums. The TM-6 features backing tracks and click tracks. These are easy to use in both live work and rehearsal. Backing tracks are stored on an SD card, so can be played direct from the memory, allowing you to store a whole song for a live show.
Finally, the TM-6 Module can be used through your computer, as the module works as trigger to MIDI converter with an audio interface, allowing you to play backing and click tracks from your computer via a USB cable. Audio/MIDI interface functions offer 8-in/8-out audio with an impressive sampling rate of 44.1kHz/48kHz/96kHz, plus MIDI in/out capability.
