The V71 Module is Roland’s most advanced sound module, featuring powerful DSP, expanded waveform memory, and a premium sound library with multi-layer drum samples and round-robin randomization. Developed in collaboration with DW, sounds were recorded in top studios globally, including DW's facility in Oxnard, CA. It offers wireless connectivity to Roland Cloud via Bluetooth, advanced sound processing (EQ, compressors, convolution ambience), and deep V-Edit tools for sound customization. Users can import samples to layer with internal sounds, while the V71 Editor software enhances workflow. The module supports 32-channel USB audio, full MIDI, balanced XLR, 1/4-inch outputs, and multiple trigger inputs for digital and analog pads.
