The reimagined Roland V-Drums Acoustic Design kit offers a six-piece setup with full-size wood shells and double-braced chrome stands, available in five premium finishes including Pearl White, Satin Walnut, and various glossy veneers. The V71 module features a new multi-sampled sound library, developed in collaboration with DW, and supports DW Soundworks software for seamless computer integration. With Roland Cloud Connect, users can wirelessly download expansions and Kit Packs, and a six-month Roland Cloud Ultimate membership is included.
The kit offers a large color display, enhanced V-Edit tools, sample import support, and deep processing options such as EQs, compressors, and reverb. Connectivity includes stereo XLR and 1/4-inch outputs, eight direct outputs, three digital and 14 analog trigger inputs, and a 32-channel USB audio interface with MIDI and Bluetooth. The kit features the new PD-14DSX digital snare, 14-inch VH-14D digital hi-hats, an 18-inch CY-18DR digital ride, PDA100 and PDA120 rack toms, two PDA140F floor toms, and a 22-inch KD-22 kick drum with acoustic wood shell and drumhead-mounted sensor. It also comes with a KDP-5 kick pad patch.
