After years of painstaking development, we are very excited to make the announcement that Omnisphere 2 will be released on April 30th 2015. This is the very first time that sound design and software supremos Spectrasonics have released a v2.0 and it will be well worth the wait!

Among the many new features is audio import so you can use your own soundsources within the Omnisphere engine, lots of new waveforms, wavetable and granular synthesis, additional sounds and FX and enhanced browsing functionality.
